First industry standard for performance validation of molecular POCT systems

Point-of-care testing (POCT), also known as "bedside testing" or "near-patient testing," is a test performed near or at the patient's location that may result in a change in the patient's disposition. The test is performed near or at the patient's location and the results may lead to a change in the patient's management. Secondly, the molecular POCT system is an integrated and closed system that can effectively prevent the contamination of the environment by biological samples and their genetic material, and the contamination of the environment by genetic material.

Recently, the National Health Commission released the industry standard "Performance Verification of Clinical Microbiology Culture, Identification and Drug Sensitivity Testing Systems", which standardizes and standardizes the performance verification of molecular POCT systems in all aspects and is the first industry standard for performance verification of molecular POCT system.​
