YHLO Invests in Savorcare to Expand Its Diabetes Management Ecosystem

YHLO has made a strategic investment in Shenzhen Savorcare, a company specializing in smart biosensors, marking a further expansion of its diabetes management business. Savorcare is developing continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, which could complement YHLO’s existing diabetes testing portfolio and its Pancreatic Islet Function Intelligence (PIFI) platform. By combining conventional laboratory testing and pancreatic islet function assessment with continuous glucose monitoring, the two companies aim to connect hospital-based evaluation with out-of-hospital, long-term patient management.

The investment reflects a broader industry shift from single-point testing toward integrated chronic disease management. YHLO has established a diabetes testing portfolio covering risk prediction, pancreatic function assessment, autoimmune diagnosis and disease monitoring. The potential integration of CGM technology could further extend its capabilities into real-time data collection and AI-assisted intervention, creating a more connected approach to diabetes management. Following the investment, the two companies plan to explore further technical and business collaboration, including the development of integrated testing and monitoring solutions.

Runda Medical and AgiBot Explore Embodied AI Applications in Healthcare

Runda Medical has joined forces with AgiBot to explore the application of embodied AI in healthcare, following a recent visit by Runda Medical’s delegation to AgiBot’s headquarters. The discussions focused on combining Runda Medical’s healthcare expertise, clinical workflow knowledge, medical data capabilities and AI agents with AgiBot’s robotics technologies in perception, interaction and task execution. The collaboration builds on their previous work adapting algorithms for intelligent hospital guidance, including bilingual interaction testing and demonstrations at international exhibitions.

Potential applications span both hospital and community healthcare settings. Within hospitals, the companies are exploring robotic assistance for laboratory sample sorting and transport, patient guidance, pre-consultation information collection, and ward rounds. Beyond hospitals, potential applications include chronic disease follow-up, medication reminders, rehabilitation support and elderly care. The partnership reflects a broader shift towards integrating AI into physical healthcare workflows, where successful deployment will depend not only on robotic hardware but also on clinical expertise, reliable data, workflow integration and regulatory compliance. The two companies plan to pursue joint product development and scenario-based validation, with a focus on practical needs, operational stability and deployment costs.

KingMed Diagnostics and Dynamiker Join Forces to Advance Fungal Disease Diagnosis and Management

KingMed Diagnostics and Dynamiker Biotechnology signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 30 to strengthen the diagnosis and management of fungal diseases, particularly invasive fungal infections (IFIs). The partnership combines KingMed’s nationwide laboratory service network, clinical sample resources and data capabilities with Dynamiker’s expertise in developing and manufacturing in vitro diagnostic products for fungal and other infectious diseases. The aim is to accelerate the clinical adoption of innovative diagnostic technologies and improve access to standardized fungal disease testing across healthcare institutions.

The collaboration will focus on three areas: expanding access to comprehensive diagnostic methods, including serological, molecular, morphological and rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing; jointly developing new diagnostic products and exploring AI-powered diagnostic platforms using clinical samples and epidemiological data; and strengthening the industry ecosystem through multicenter biobanks, health economics research, clinical guidelines and industry standards. The agreement highlights the growing importance of collaboration between diagnostic technology developers and laboratory service providers in addressing unmet clinical needs and improving the early detection and standardized management of invasive fungal infections.

JD Health and Furui Medical Partner to Establish a Liver Cancer Prevention Center

JD Health and Furui Medical signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 27 to establish a joint Liver Cancer Prevention Center, focusing on early screening and diagnosis, dynamic monitoring of liver fibrosis, and long-term patient management. The partnership combines Furui Medical’s expertise in liver disease, including non-invasive liver fibrosis assessment technologies and related products, with JD Health’s capabilities in online healthcare, pharmaceutical supply, professional pharmacy services and patient engagement. The two companies aim to build a more integrated service pathway covering disease education, risk identification, screening reminders, clinical referrals and ongoing follow-up.

The initial target is to provide services to 10,000 patients at medium to high risk of liver cancer. Planned initiatives include risk-based patient management, medication guidance, regular screening and follow-up, as well as connections between online consultations and offline medical services. The partnership will also explore the integration of patient support with insurance solutions and professional education for healthcare practitioners. The initiative reflects a broader shift towards proactive, full-cycle management of chronic liver diseases, recognizing that early identification of high-risk patients and sustained monitoring are essential to improving liver cancer prevention.

Matwings Technology and Revvity Partner to Advance AI for Science in Life Sciences

Matwings Technology and Revvity signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 29 to advance AI for Science applications through the integration of AI algorithms and laboratory automation technologies. Matwings specializes in AI-driven protein design and computational biology, supported by its MatwingsVenus® platform, which connects computational design with automated experimental validation. Revvity brings more than three decades of experience in life sciences and laboratory automation, with over 600 automation systems deployed worldwide. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between computational predictions and experimental validation, creating a more integrated and iterative research and development process.

The two companies will focus on drug discovery and development, protein engineering and biomanufacturing, exploring a Lab-in-the-Loop model that combines AI algorithms, advanced laboratory equipment and experimental services. By integrating Matwings’s capabilities in AI models, protein design and biological computing with Revvity’s laboratory automation technologies and localized R&D and manufacturing resources in Taicang, the companies aim to develop end-to-end solutions that accelerate scientific discovery and industrial translation. The collaboration reflects the growing role of AI-driven, automated experimental workflows in improving R&D efficiency and advancing innovation across the life sciences industry.
