Over the years, Mindray has brought tangible results and benefits to Africa through private cooperation, which is of great significance to local inclusive medical care and talent training.
Egypt is a country with a large population in Africa, but the country’s medical equipment in the field of obstetrics and gynecology is relatively backward. Ibrahim, an obstetrician and gynecologist with 35 years of medical experience, explained the reason. “4D ultrasound equipment is expensive and requires operating high skills. Hospitals and clinics have been worried about the introduction of equipment."
The first training school in the field of ultrasound radiology in Egypt officially opened in the Medical Training Center of Alexandria University
In response to this situation, Mindray has formulated a strategy that meets the actual needs of the local area-donate or sell at a preferential price, and provide Egypt with advanced technology color ultrasound equipment. In addition, Mindray cooperated with local top universities and public teaching hospitals to build 4 training centers and 13 training schools to provide a full range of experience and training services.

Up to now, more than 1,500 obstetrics and gynecology medical staff in Egypt have completed training and have taken up medical positions. Every year, more than 80,000 people use Mindray ultrasound equipment to check and diagnose. Mindray has successfully escorted the health of African people. Ibrahim sighed: "With the support of Chinese companies, Egypt's obstetrics and gynecology examinations and service levels have achieved a leap."
