From 18-22 May 2025, Brussels, Belgium, hosted the 26th IFCC-EFLM EUROMEDLAB Congress of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine and the 49th Annual Meeting of the Royal Belgian Society of Laboratory Medicine.
A high-level delegation representing the China Association of In-Vitro Diagnostics (CAIVD), the China Professional Community of Experimental Medicine (CPCEM), and CACLP was invited to attend and take part in global discussions shaping the future of the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry.

During the event, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from leading international organizations——the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM).
The topics covered Sino-European collaboration in the IVD field including standardization initiatives, and market access strategies, fostering new opportunities for high-quality global cooperation.
Spotlight on China’s IVD Industry
EUROMEDLAB 2025 also saw a strong presence from leading Chinese IVD companies. Their participation underscored the innovation, competitiveness, and global ambition of China's diagnostics sector.
