2024 IVD Distribution Enterprises Work Conference Successfully Held in Hangzhou

On 26 October 2024, China Association of In-Vitro Diagnostics (CAIVD) hosted the Distribution Enterprises Work Conference in Hangzhou, bringing together representatives from over 50 in vitro diagnostics (IVD) distribution enterprises.

Prof. Haibo Song, Chairman of CAIVD, Director of the IVD Industrial Development Institute, and Founder of CACLP, emphasized the significant impact of current policies on IVD distribution enterprises. He highlighted the importance of these enterprises in adapting to market changes and improving their services to medical institutions, thereby promoting the high-quality development of the IVD industry.

The conference also addressed the organization of the upcoming 7th China IVD Distribution Enterprises Forum, scheduled for March 2025 during the 22nd China International In Vitro Diagnostic Expo by CACLP in Hangzhou. Discussions included preparations for the forum and its thematic focus.

Additionally, the conference summarized the offline enterprise exchange visits conducted by distribution entrepreneurs throughout 2024 and outlined plans for future visits in 2025. These exchanges are seen as crucial for understanding the operational status of IVD enterprises, optimizing the business environment, and staying updated on industry trends. The discussions aimed to enhance business sensitivity and insights while fostering communication and collaboration among teams.
