Fapon and KIVDA Sign Strategic Agreement to Deepen China-Korea IVD Collaboration

On 23 May, Fapon Biotech signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Korea In Vitro Diagnostics Association (KIVDA), marking a significant milestone in Sino-Korea diagnostics industry collaboration. The partnership aims to establish a mutually beneficial framework across technological innovation, market synergy, and policy alignment, fostering joint efforts in industry standardization, ecosystem development, and global market expansion.

This visit to South Korea is a part of Fapon’s global expansion initiative, which was jointly launched in March 2025 by Fapon, Tencent Healthcare, and the IDEA Life Science Innovation Ecosystem Alliance, under the witness of CAIVD and CACLP.

Agilent and MEGAROBO Deepen Collaboration to Co-Develop Smart Lab Solutions

Agilent Technologies and MEGAROBO signed a strengthened strategic cooperation agreement, marking the launch of their second-phase joint innovation plan.

Building on the success of phase one, the two sides will further integrate Agilent’s analytical platforms with Mega’s automation technology to develop differentiated, market-ready smart laboratory solutions. The collaboration aims to support digital transformation across sectors such as petrochemicals, new materials, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences.

WeGoBP Lists on Shanghai Stock Exchange with Over RMB 20 Billion Valuation

On May 19, 2025, WeGoBP, a leading player in China’s dialysis sector, was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange main board. The stock opened at RMB 49.99 per share, pushing its market value past RMB 20.5 billion.

Founded in 2004, WeGoBP covers both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. In 2023, it led China’s market in dialyzers (32.5%) and bloodline sets (31.8%), ranking second in dialysis machines and fifth in peritoneal dialysis solutions—marking a significant step in replacing foreign dominance with local innovation.
