Beckman Coulter invests in the Chinese IVD company 

HEALTH Gene Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has added Beckman Coulter Trading (China) Co. as a shareholder, increasing its registered capital by RMB 11.35 billion. 

Established in 2002, HEALTH Gene Intelligent Manufacturing, a subsidiary of HEALTH Gene Technologies Co., Ltd., is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales, and service of immunoluminescent reagents and instruments. It holds medical device licenses for nearly 40 immunodiagnostic reagents, covering various clinical applications, including myocardial inflammation.

Sansure and Hongshi Medical unveil joint R&D laboratory

Sansure Biotech Inc. and Shanghai Hongshi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. have launched the X-platform joint research and development laboratory at the Sansure Biotech Industrial Park in Shanghai. 

Despite the widespread use of molecular diagnostics, both parties agree that a deeper understanding of PCR technology is needed. They aim to improve the coordination of sample collection, pre-processing, nucleic acid amplification, and detection, and address underlying technological challenges.
