How did Chinese listed companies perform in the first half of the year? As of June 30, 2022, a total of 8,392 Chinese listed companies (excluding delisted companies) have been listed on 16 major exchanges in the world, including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Hong Kong and New York, an increase of 116 compared with the end of last year. The total market value was 130.22 trillion CNY, down 8% from the end of last year, and the market value of 10 companies exceeded trillion CNY.

21JINGJI launched the latest list of the top 500 Chinese listed companies by market value. The total market value of the top 500 companies was 82 trillion CNY, down about 7% compared with the end of last year; The entry threshold fell to 42.642 billion CNY from 48.476 billion CNY at the end of last year. Tencent holdings, Guizhou Moutai and Alibaba ranked firmly in the top three.

There are 38 biomedical enterprises on the list, among which in vitro diagnosis related enterprises include Mindray, Wantai and Fosun.

According to statistics, the latest headquarters of China's top 500 companies with market capitalization are concentrated in Beijing (98), Shanghai (58), Hong Kong (45), Shenzhen (38) and Taipei (27). Among them, the total market value of 98 top 500 listed companies in Beijing is close to 22trillion, and four of the top ten companies with total market value are headquartered in Beijing.

Overall, 268 of the top 500 by market value came from Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai and Zhejiang, accounting for 54%, basically the same as at the end of last year.
