2022 Hurun Global Rich List Was Released

Hurun Report released the Hurun Global Rich List 2022, a ranking of the US dollar billionaires in the world. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 14 January 2022. This is the eleventh year of the ranking.

SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk has bagged the top position on the 2022 Hurun Global Rich List, with a total net worth of CNY 1.29 trillion. Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos trailed behind in second place, with a net worth of CNY 1.19 trillion. LVMH's chairman Bernard Arnault and Microsoft's founder Bill Gates, were ranked third and fourth, respectively, boasting a respective net worth of CNY 965 billion and CNY 780 billion.

The Hurun Global Rich List has three IVD industry-related entrepreneurs in the top 100: No.15 Shanshan Zhong of Nongfu Spring/Wantai (CNY 455 billion); No.93 Xiyan Li of Mindary (CNY 120 billion), and Hang Xu of Mindary and Parkland Group (CNY 120 billion).

Other IVD-related companies where entrepreneurs have wealth of more than CNY 10 billion include: Wondfo, Autobio, Sansure, Gongdong, Snibe, BGI, Assure, Novogenefu, Fosun, Lepu, Wego and etc.
