Prenosis on Wednesday said it will use $4.8 million from two Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants from the National Institutes of Health's National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) to study why patients develop sepsis in acute care settings and how best to treat them using its Immunix Artificial Intelligence platform.
PamGene International said Tuesday that the European Innovation Council's Accelerator program will provide €7.5 million ($8.2 million) in funding to develop and market the firm's prognostic test for immunotherapy response in metastatic cancer treatment.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded a $4.6 million contract to Sorrento Therapeutics to develop an in vitro diagnostic testing platform for biodefense, antimicrobial-resistant infections, and emerging infectious diseases, the firm said Tuesday.
